EU and New Zealand complete negotiations on free trade agreement

On June 30 local time, the European Commission announced that the EU and New Zealand had completed the negotiation of the free trade agreement, "which will bring important economic opportunities to enterprises and consumers of both sides".
The European Commission said in a statement that after the agreement takes effect, the bilateral trade between the EU and New Zealand is expected to increase by 30%, and the EU's exports to New Zealand are expected to increase by as much as 4.5 billion euros.
The EU and New Zealand started negotiations on a free trade agreement in June 2018.
